"Just as well you can’t have children, even your living room is not adapted for that.”

The blow came with this sentence, bluntly presenting the scientific results. Even if I could hear the  whispering, as the egg was not fertilised, the whole lot was of no use.
Useless.
A life, in vain, they said.

Tunisia, La Soukra, 10h11.
At the end of my parents’ garden, the hens were cackling away.
The chicken coop was restless. The childish pleasure of going to get a just laid, warm egg and feel the quite perfect shape.
But there was no cockerel around. The amusement from the farmyard friends : so they could lay an egg, bring such a beautiful « object » into the world, beautiful in its shape and in its meaning but without being fertile.
The top of my skull just exploded.

The Earth, Here, Now.
From 17h17 to 10h11, it took me a whole night to understand that what someone else sees could deprive me of seeing myself. A whole cycle to pick up the pieces from a war that I didn’t choose, to stick them back together and create another sleek and sincere shape. A slow change of substance.
SInce then, my mind has been illuminated with all the possibilities open to me.

Like sleeping.
And dream of a space I want to give myself in this indescribable chaotic time. Seize this chaos and create something from it. Take everything and nothing and have fun with it, in the way we can enjoy pain when time washes away the memories.
